While working for our latest client, we discovered a website offering freely downloadable cool looking icons.

From icons to templates to vector graphics, DryIcons sure stands out as professionals. 

The icons are available in three formats - .ico, .png and .icns. Each format supports sizes ranging from 16x16 pixels to 128x128 pixels.

There are also three licensing requirements to each set of downloaded icons:

• Free license requires a backlink attribution to Dryicons
• Commercial license removes the backlink attribution and allows you to sell the icons as part of your software to one client
• Extended license is basically an enhanced Commercial license that lifts the restrictions from one to unlimited clients

Dryicons is well worth checking out.

While designing our W3C Joomla! template, Baby Love, we stumbled upon another website offering royalty-free good-looking icons. 

Icons Etc. currently offers 128,743 free icons and clipart stock images for web design, application design, graphic design, and many other purposes. It's fairly easy to browse the tagged icon sets in alphabetical order. The sidebar offers browsing by category (Icon Style) or browing by Icons & Clipart by Most Tags (in descending order). 

The icon sets are the same, but they are available in different color and designer schemes. It's worth checking out this great gem of a website.
